According to leaks noticed by Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is planning to introduce an under-display camera on its next Mi next flagship phone. The new smartphone is expected to share similarities with Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and is also said to sport a UWB chip. The company has been working on the under-display camera technology for quite some time now and it seems the new Mi flagship phone will the first to sport it.

Xiaomi first came up with the concept of hidden camera’s in 2020 with Mi 10 flagship. The company did a decent job as it was able to successfully hide the camera’s location while keeping the image quality as good as a regular selfie camera. The concept of UWB technology is also fairly new and came into being with Apple iPhone 11 series and the AirTag and the Samsung galaxy SmartTag It is also being speculated that the Xiaomi flagship will feature a camera setup as impressive as its predecessor Mi 11 Ultra. The upcoming smartphone is also expected to have 120W wired fast-charging with support for 70W fast-wireless charging.

Xiaomi has not released any official statement regarding Mi new flagship smartphone. However, rumours suggest that the new Mi flagship will cost a bomb, and will outdo the Ultras and Maxes of the phone world with next-gen technology.
