The news about telco giant bringing affordable Jio laptops started doing rounds three years back when Miguel Nunes, Senior Director of Product Management at Qualcomm hinted that the company was in talks with Reliance Jio to launch laptops with cellular connectivity.

The affordable Jio 4G laptop is expected to enter the PVT (Product Validation Test) by second half of April. The laptop has been tested in many iterations and one of its models has 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM as well as 32GB of eMMC storage. XDA Developers got their hands on the alleged laptop’s firmware, which also suggest towards Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip for the JioBook. The Snapdragon 665 SoC comes with a 4G LTE-enabled Snapdragon X12 modem. According to several rumours floating around, JioBook will come with a mini-HDMI connector for video output. It is also expected to have a dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a three-axis accelerometer, and a Qualcomm audio chip. Along with several Microsoft apps pre-installed apps, including Microsoft Teams, Edge, and Office, JioBook will also have pre-installed applications like JioMeet, JioStore, JioPages, and more
Jio 4G Laptop Price in India
There has been no official announcement regarding JioBook price in India.
